- Keep ampoules at -20°C or -80°C for storage.
- No needs to spin the ampoule before opening it. Remove the cap carefully.
- Dissolve the lyophilized protein by adding the solution advised by the datasheet or Certificate of Analysis(CoA) along the inner side of the ampoule to avoid generating bubbles. Please follow the instruction in the datasheet/COA to make protein concentration. (Note: No needs to add carriers* to the initial reconstitution solution). Wear gloves when manipulating the sample to prevent contamination from proteases that may degrade the reconstituted protein.
- Leave the reconstituted protein solution at room temperature for at least 20 minutes.
- Pipet the solution gently. The solution should be clear if proteins are fully dissolved. (Important Note: Do Not Vortex! Vigorous shaking may impair the biological activity of the protein.)
- Use the reconstituted solution immediately, or make aliquots and store them at -20 °C. (Important Note: Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles)
- We recommend diluting the initial reconstitution solution to working concentration with buffers or medium-containing carriers*. (Important Note: Do not use water for dilution, which may cause protein degradation.)
*Carriers: 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA or 10% FBS.
