Matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP9), also known as gelatinase B, is an enzyme that degrades components of the extracellular matrix, such as type IV and V collagens. It is involved in physiological processes like angiogenesis and wound healing, as well as pathological conditions including cancer metastasis and inflammation. MMP9 is expressed in various cell types, including neutrophils and macrophages.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.

The product is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -20°C or lower for long term storage.
