  • Background

    CD83, a transmembrane protein primarily found on the surface of mature dendritic cells, is a key regulator of immune responses. It plays a critical role in modulating T cell activation and tolerance. CD83 expression is upregulated upon dendritic cell maturation and is involved in antigen presentation and T cell priming. Additionally, CD83 can also be found in soluble form, exerting immunoregulatory effects on T cells and other immune cells. Its precise functions in immune regulation are still under investigation, but CD83 is recognized as a potential therapeutic target for immune-related disorders and autoimmune diseases.

    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration not less than 0.2 mg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.

    The product is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -20°C or lower for long term storage.
