  • Background
    • Background

CD10, also known as neprilysin, is a cell surface metallopeptidase involved in the degradation of various peptides, including enkephalins and natriuretic peptides. It is expressed in various tissues, including the kidney and lymphoid cells. CD10 serves as a marker for certain leukemias and lymphomas and plays a role in regulating peptide-mediated signaling pathways.
