HRV 3C protease feature products

Human rhinoviruses (HRV) 3C protease is often used to remove the purification tag appended to interest proteins after the affinity chromatography step, but the quality of manufacturing process might be compromised if any minute remaining of the cleaving enzyme does not be right checked.
To check whether that protease has been sufficiently cleared, although tool kits based on enzymatic colorimetry and HPLC are provided, an obvious drawback of the former is low sensitivity (~50 ng/ml) and those of the later are lack of specificity and high practice costs, thus we receiving massive calls for a more comprehensive solution from customers.
Here we announce a brand-new, specific monoclonal antibody (mAb)-based sandwich ELISA kit (Cat. No. 71400) for the detection of HRV 3C protease with outstanding LoQ (limit of quantification) at 0.19 ng/ml and wide linear range of 1.5625~100 ng/ml (R square ≥ 0.990).
