Background
Human Plasma Kallikrein is a serine protease involved in the kallikrein-kinin system, playing a crucial role in blood coagulation, inflammation, and blood pressure regulation. It is activated from its precursor, prekallikrein, and contributes to the generation of bradykinin, a potent vasodilator. The Human Plasma Kallikrein protein, when expressed in CHO (Chinese Hamster Ovary) cells, is often engineered with a His (histidine) tag to facilitate its purification and detection in biochemical studies. This recombinant Plasma Kallikrein-His fusion protein is commonly used in research related to coagulation disorders, inflammatory diseases, and therapeutic development.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
