Background
Interleukin-13 (IL-13) is a cytokine primarily produced by activated Th2 cells. It regulates immune and inflammatory responses, promoting B cell proliferation, IgE production, and mucus secretion. IL-13 plays a key role in allergic diseases such as asthma and atopic dermatitis, as well as in tissue remodeling and fibrosis. Recombinant IL-13 expressed in HEK293 cells provides high bioactivity and purity for immunological research and diagnostic applications.
