Background
Complement C1s is a calcium-dependent serine protease and a key component of the C1 complex in the classical complement pathway. Upon activation, C1s cleaves C4 and C2, leading to the formation of C3 convertase and downstream complement activation. C1s plays a crucial role in innate immunity, immune complex clearance, and antibody-mediated defense. Recombinant C1s expressed in HEK293 cells is widely applied in complement research, immunology, and diagnostic reagent development.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
