    In humans, CLEC-2 is similarly expressed on platelets and immune cells, recognizing podoplanin. It is involved in platelet activation, thrombus formation, and maintaining vascular integrity. CLEC-2 has also been studied in the context of cancer metastasis, as tumor cells expressing podoplanin can interact with CLEC-2 to facilitate dissemination.

    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
