Description
Dengue virus non-structural protein 1 (DENV NS1) is a highly conserved viral glycoprotein that is secreted during dengue virus infection and plays a critical role in viral replication, immune modulation, and disease pathogenesis. NS1 is widely used as a target molecule for dengue virus research and infection-related studies. Accurate and sensitive detection of DENV NS1 is important for basic research and virology studies. Leadgene® DENV NS1 ELISA Kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the quantitative detection of DENV NS1 levels in sample solution. The DENV NS1 ELISA Kit is for research use only (RUO). Not suitable for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Test Principle
DENV NS1 ELISA Kit is used to detect DENV NS1 in samples by sandwich ELISA method. This assay uses microplate pre-coated with mouse anti-DENV NS1 monoclonal antibody to the solid phase. DENV NS1 in the samples conjugates on solid phase and then react with the HRP conjugated mouse anti-DENV NS1 monoclonal antibody. Subsequent wash steps will residually unbound antibody. After incubation with substrate solution, the reaction is determined by the absorbance at 450 nm. Quantification of DENV NS1 level is accomplished by comparing the absorbance with standard curve.
