Species of Origin
His Tag (C-term)
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered solution of PBS, pH 7.4.
>98% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
The protein has a calculated MW of 25.52 kDa.
The protein migrates about 25 kDa under reducing condition (SDS-PAGE analysis).
Measure by its ability to induce proliferation in NFS-60 cells. The ED₅₀ for this effect is <30 ng/mL. The specific activity of recombinant mouse IL-34 is > 3.3 x 10⁴ IU/mg.
<0.1 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Interleukin 34 (IL-34) is a 23.98 kDa cytokine with 216 amino acid residues. IL-34 is a ligand of the colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF-1R) and is mainly secreted from the adrenal, frontal lobe, and cortex. IL-34 play a vital role in the proliferation, survival, differentiation, and migration of myeloid cells. These functions are mediated by IL-33 activating ERK1 /2, JAK, and PI3K/AKT signal pathways.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration not less than 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
