  • Background
    • Background

Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) is a multifunctional cytokine that regulates cell growth, motility, and morphogenesis by activating the c-Met receptor. In mice, HGF plays roles similar to those in humans, serving as an essential factor for embryonic development, tissue regeneration, wound healing, and angiogenesis. Through c-Met signaling, mouse HGF promotes cell proliferation, migration, and morphogenesis, and is widely used in mouse model studies involving liver injury, fibrosis, cancer progression, metastasis, and organoid development.
