Background
CD79B, also known as the Igβ chain, is a critical signaling component of the B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) complex. Together with CD79A (Igα), CD79B mediates antigen recognition and transduces activation signals required for B cell development, differentiation, and immune responses. Phosphorylation of CD79B initiates downstream signaling cascades, including SYK, BTK, and NF-κB pathways. Recombinant CD79B expressed in HEK293 cells is commonly used for antibody screening, BCR signaling studies, and immunological assay development.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
