Background
T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing protein 3 (TIM-3), encoded by HAVCR2, is an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor expressed on T cells, NK cells, and other immune subsets. TIM-3 plays a critical role in regulating T cell exhaustion, immune tolerance, and inflammatory responses. In cancer, elevated TIM-3 expression contributes to tumor immune evasion and resistance to immune checkpoint therapy. TIM-3 is therefore widely studied in immunology and cancer research as a key regulator of immune signaling and a promising immuno-oncology target.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
