    Stem cell factor (SCF), also known as KIT ligand (KITLG) or steel factor, is a hematopoietic cytokine that binds to the c-Kit receptor (CD117) to regulate cell survival, proliferation, differentiation, and migration. SCF plays essential roles in hematopoiesis, mast cell development, melanocyte function, and germ cell maintenance. Dysregulated SCF–c-Kit signaling has been implicated in cancer progression and tumor microenvironment regulation. SCF is widely used in cell biology, immunology, cancer research, and organoid culture systems to support stem and progenitor cell growth and signaling studies.

    It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
