>95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.
The protein has a calculated MW of 19.49 kDa.
The protein migrates as 22 kDa under reducing condition (SDS-PAGE analysis).
Measure by its ability to induce IL-8 secretion in human PBMCs. The ED₅₀ for this effect is <0.9 μg/mL.
<0.1 EU per 1 μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Interleukin-37 (IL-37) consists of 192 amino acids. IL-37 is a member of the interleukin-1 cytokine family. The primary function is binding to the interleukin-18 receptor (IL18R1 /IL-1Rrp) and then becoming a subunit to inhibit the activity of IL-18. This behavior often occurs between various immune responses. It also significantly affects the negative regulation of tumor necrosis factor production.

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration not less than 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
The product is shipped with polar packs. Upon receipt, store it immediately at -20°C or lower for long term storage.
Stability & Storage
This product is stable after storage at:
- -20°C for 12 months in lyophilized state from date of receipt.
- -20°C or -80°C for 1 month under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
