  • Background
    • Background

Similar to its mouse counterpart, human cadherin-17 (CDH17) is involved in cell-cell adhesion in the gastrointestinal tract. It functions as an oncogenic molecule critical to pancreatic cancer growth by regulating tumor apoptosis signaling pathways. CDH17 is also used as a diagnostic marker in certain cancers.
