C-Reactive Protein (CRP) is an acute-phase protein produced by the liver in response to inflammation, infection, or tissue injury. It is a widely used biomarker for detecting and monitoring inflammatory conditions, cardiovascular diseases, and certain cancers. CRP plays a role in immune responses by binding to phosphocholine on pathogens and damaged cells, promoting complement activation and phagocytosis.

Reconstitution
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile H₂O to a concentration of 200 μg/mL and incubate the stock solution for at least 20 min to ensure sufficient re-dissolved.
